By D.E.N. As the title of this article implies, this is one person’s opinion. The tv shows seem to be particularly mediocre this year. Wonder how long that turkey about the fellow whose mother is the automobile will last. Get Smart seems to have the most possibilities if it can keep up its present type of humor. We kinda like F Troop too. ★ ★ ★ “Music Man”, in spite of the usual amount of problems promises to be a fine show. Everyone is certainly working hard. ★ ★ ★ Nappanee reactions to the new high school site are definitely mixed. Muoh disappointment that the Derksen land wasn’t chosen. Much worry about eventual traffic on 19. But C’est Laguerre. Could have been much worse. Everyone had to compromise. ★ ★ ★ Then there’s that joke about LBJ

and Lady Bird picking out a cemetery lot and objecting to the high price. “After all”, he says, “I’m only going to need it three days.” ★ ★ ★ We’re extremely bitter. A year ago we fished off the pier at the LaMar Stoops cottage and caught not a guppy. Glen McMumy tries a few casts and pulls in 4 four pound 11 ounce bass. LaMar claims htat was a pet he’s been feeding all summer. ★ Ar ★ One of the problems with Civic Theater musicals has been the inadequacy of the stage. So Thurlo Clouse and Duane Parker went to work and built a lafge extension on it, which makes it look the big time. , \ ★ ★ ★ Before our editorial even appears, there have been suggestions on what to call tihe new high school. Nappa-rooshie or Hochstetler High are definitely out Our congressman promises us that he will vote for all appropriations, and against all taxes. Somebody please explain.
