Amos Peters preached. / Feb. 19—We attended the sale at John Stoutenour’s. Mar. 24—We attended the funeral of Old Mary Letherman. She has been an invalid and laid for the last 17 years. Daniel Wysong and J. C. Murray preached. April 4—We attended the funeral in Nappanee as Old David Weaver was buried. April 6—Old John Walburn died and was buried'today. April 24—John Brown finished

putting up my derrick and wind wheel. June s—l drove a good cow down to Goshen and sold her to Butterfield. June 12—I helped Joe Wysong to raise his barn. June 25—We attended the funeral at the Brick church as Old John Geyer was buried. Aug. 9—l went over to Daniel Wysong’s to see the sick as Clare Wysong had a leg broken by a runaway horse. Sept. 10—We went out on the Webster lake and caught 230 fish. Sept. 15—We 'attended the funeral as Mrs. Benj. Mast was buried. Sept. 29—We attended the funeral at the Brick church as Jacob Longanecker’s wife was buried. Nov. 2—John Artz’s went with us over to Milford to the funeral of Jacob Wineland. Nov. s—l was over to Daniel Wysong’s aIL day as he fell off of his barn roof, a distance of 20 feet, and broke his leg near the hip. 1 helped the doators to set his leg.

Nov. 18—We went over home and took dinner with mother. At 1:00 p.m. went to the Brick church, father was buried. Peter Stuckman and I. J. Rosenberger preached the funeral. Text Psa. 17:15. Dec. 21 —I went over to Daniel Wysong’s and helped the doctor to get Daniel on his feet the first time since he was hurt. Dec. 31—We went over home as we had a sale. Sold all the personal property. N. A. Lehman cried the sale. 1 settled up the estate. Weather Report for 1891—Total number of rains, 41; depth of rain-
fall, 46 inches. Number of snows, 15; depth of snow-fall, 22 inches. The snow-fall of the winter of 18012 was 18 snows; depth, 31% inches. HM 14 days of sleighing. Eight days below zero. Coldest day, January 19, 13 below zero.
