Community Center Mrs. John Applegate Hazel Higgins and Dorotha Anthony visited the Doyle Burketts Thursday. - Everett and Scottie Hepler were at Ben Heplers Tuesday evening. Mary ffeckaman has been going to Atwood nearly every day to help care for her brother, J. O. Johnson, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob L. Miller of Centerville, Mich, called on Ben Heplers Thursday afternoon and Mrs. Floyd Hepler was a Friday caller. Harold Collins was released from the hospital Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Chance Thomas spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Atley Miller at their Syracuse Lake cottage, then later called on Howard McDonalds. Walter Thomas and Mrs. Maxine Rapp spent Sunday with the Wayne Thomas family at South Bend. Mrs. Devon Troxel called on Mrs. Herman Blessing Tuesday, Mrs. Charles Mikel Thursday and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Blessing Sunday evening. Lt. and Mrs. Don Prior and sons, Bruce and Wayne, of San Diego, Calif, visited her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Rarick, a week, then Mrs. Prior and boys continued their visit with the Rar-
icks while tt. Prior took special officers training at Ft. Benjamin Harrison. A sister, Mrs. Darrel Byrket, and husband of Elkhart took Mrs. Prior and sons to Chicago Tuesday where they boarded a jet plane for a non-stop flight to San Diego. The Byrkets had been vacationing at their Huffman Lake cottage and at the Raricks. A third daughter of the Raricks, Mrs. J. D. Isenbarger of South Bend, was with the group the 11th, 12th and 13th, and again Monday. Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Rarick and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gay left Tuesday for the east. The Raricks are visiting the I. M. Glass family at Holidaysburg, Penn, where they held a pastorate for about five years, and the Gays continued on to Hagerstown, Maryland to attend the wedding of Dale Rummel. Sunday morning worship service at Camp Creek Church will be in charge of the Ministerial Committee. Reports from the delegates to the District Conference at Camp Mack last week-end, Ruth Whiteleather, Mildred Shively, Truman Nifong and Rev. Howard Dickey, will be heard. The evening service has been recalled in favor of revival services at the Mt. Pleasant and Turkey Creek Churches. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Klotz and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brock attended the funeral of Mrs. Klotz’s cousin, Mrs. Charles Christner at Southwest. Carol Ann Brock stayed with her great aunt, Mrs. John Krull. Calling on Mrs. Lester Rowland last week were Mr. and Mrs. David Meeks, Bronson, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Miner, Atwood, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Klindinst, Plymouth, Lloyd Rummel, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Speicher, Ruth Stutzman, Elizabeth Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ganshorn, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edler, Argyl Rowland, Hazel Higgins, Dorotha Anthony, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jones, Rev. and Mrs. Walter Burcham, Carrie Gay, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred An-
glin, Leesburg. Wallace Anglin has been seriously ill with pneumonia at Parkview Hospital, Plymouth. Latest word was that he was improving but not yet out of danger. James Galls visited Bill Galls Saturday evening. Sunday evening Virgil Eaton of Dewart Lake and two friends from South Bend called at the Henry Myers home. . They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lantz and daughters at Grand Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Osco Beach near Sand Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Merl Mikel attendeed the McCuen reunion at New Paris Sunday. Wednesday evening Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Duncan of near Milford called on the Henry Myers family and the Earl Rettingers west of Bourbon. Mr. and Mrs. James Gall, Diane and Coleen called on Mrs. William Stackhouse. Merl Mikels visited Rev. and Mrs. Frank Closson and family in the Cleta Rockstroh home Saturday evening. Rev. Closson, former Nappanee E.U.B. minister, has been serving as a missionary in Sierra Leone, Africa.
