Community Center Mrs. John Applegate _ Mrs. Marshall (Marie) Miller of Rural Route, Milford, died Thursday at Goshen General Hospital. Final rites were held Snmiay at the Bethel Church of thefeßrethren. Survivors include a brother, Ralph Whitehead, of this community.

Rev. Paul Tobias will speak at a joint meeting of the Mt. Tabor Brotherhood and Mission Circle being held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10. Rev, and Mrs. Tobias and children will soon be sailing for the mission field at Ulubaria, India where they are replacing Rev. and Mrs. A. D. M. Dick who are retiring. Sunday At 3:00 the CGYA rally wJlil be held id Bear Lake Camp with Rev. Jim Martin of the Silver Creek Church as speaker. This marks the beginning of the camping season and young people 13 to 34 years of age are asked to register before the rally. Rev. Walter Burcham will serve as dean, Mrs. Burcham, girls’ dean, Janet Burcham, music director, and both Mrs. Burcham and Janet will be instructors.

Willard Higgins family and Bradley Stackhouse called at the Higgins-Anthony home late Sunday evening. Bradley and Patrick Higgins are attending Camp at Crystal Lake this week. A large group of celebrants gathered at the local store Wednesday evening preparatory to belling Mr. .and Mrs. Wilfred Wood. The tables were turned when the bride and groom found the group, instead of the bellers tracking down the newly-weds. They were followed home, a noisy din followed, then everyone enjoyed ice cream.

Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Wood received many lovely gifts at a shower given for them at Mt. Tabor Fellowship. Hall. Ice cream and cup cakes were served. 185 attended services at Mt. Tabor Sunday morning. A baptismal service followed at the Tippecanoe River south of Atwood, with Miss Miller, Mrs. Fike and Mrs. Good being baptised. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Roekhill, Miss Berniece Harlan and Mrs. C. G. Harlan went to Greenhills, Ohio Saturday to visit the Warren Harlans. They expected to make a side trip into Kentucky before returning home. Mrs. W. I. Anglin called on Dorotha Anthony and Mrs. Orville Higgins Friday. Martha Love spent Wednesday night with Mrs. Roscoe Shively. Rev. and Mrs. John Hartman were at Millwood Chapel Church Sunday morning mad evening, with Rev. Hartman delivering the message at both services. The Hartmans will be at Millwood Chapel again next Sunday and communion will be observed at the morning service. ' Ethel Duffer was a Monday caller and Mrs. Earl Ganshorn and sons were Tuesday callers at the Higgins-Anthony home. Jan Gawthrop gave a humorous reading and Truman Nifong played a harmonica solo at the Kosciusko County Farm Bureau potluck supper and amateur show Tuesday evening. Meri, Paula and Melana Higgins and Ruth Amon stayed at the Higgins-Anthony home while Mrs. Willard Higgins helped Rev. and Mrs. Jack Amon pack to move to Reinbeck, lowa, Monday. The Amons left Tuesday morning for their new home.

Sunday dinner guests of Hazel Higgins and Dorotha Anthony were Mr. and M.rs Eugene Anthony and Debby. Rev. and Mrs. John Hartman attended the Hartman reunion at Wakarusa, then stopped at the East-West Millwood school reunion for a visit with old friends. Bruce Berkey went to Memorial Hospital last week, but returned home without having the anticipated operation. Nanette Sellers is spending ten days with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harman, while her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorain Sellers are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Max Harman and family at Longmont, Colorado. Eighty schoolmates of yesteryear attended the East MillwoodWest Millwood school reunion at Nappanee Community Park Sunday. 1963 officers are Glenn Disher, president, Florence Ball, sec-retary-treasurer and Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Jones, hosts. James Galls attended the Bible School program at the Warsaw Grace Brethren Church Sunday evening. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Donald HartzeU and Mr. and Mrs. Don Yeiter took part Mrs. Richard Harman, Gregory and Gail and Mrs. Rosa Hannan visited Mrs. Max MRler, Warsaw, Wednesday afternoon. Rosa had dinner and supper with the Richard Hannans, helping Gail celebrate his birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Red Harman and three daughters of Lexington, Massachusetts are visiting Indiana relatives. Friday evening Max Millers and Richard Harmans had a weiner roast in their honor at the Miller home. Saturday evening Richard Harmans entertained with a steak barbecue honoring them, with Mr. and Mrs. Seward Harman and daughter, Mrs. Rosa Harman, Mr. and Mrs. Max Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Harman and daughters also present. The eighth annual reunion of the Rosa Harman family met at the Nappanee Community Park Sunday with 75 of the 83 relatives present. Ted Harmans of Massachusetts came the farthest. Stacy Rowland’s callers last week were Anna Anglin, Kate Moore, Ada Jones and Rev. Walter Burcham. County Line Services will be held at the Providence Primitive Baptist Church Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. William Truex visited Mr. and Mrs. Edward Truex at Osceola, Friday afternoon. Elder and Mrs. Elias Sarber and family visited at the Melvin Booker home at Inwood and Arnold Berkeypile home at Plymouth, Sunday afternoon. Clifford Ost e r visited Floyd and Charles Gordon, Sunday afternoon. Several from here attended the funeral of Lawrence Schieber at Wakarusa, Saturday afternoon. Charles Ainlay To Be At Jaycee Fair Monday Charles Ainlay, 3rd District Republican candidate for Congress, will be in the merchants tent on Monday, Juty 9, which will be family nighs at the Community Fair.
