This is a scene at a. hiippiei 4 Middlebiuy pa me. .The one the Saturday before Sectionals ■
Although it seemed as this week was dull on the surface, there was plenty of .activity behind the scene? at N. H. S. Some of the main events centered around preparation for the tourney. One of these was a pepsession held Wednesday afternoon, which was arranged by the sophomores. This gave the girls a glimpse of what they look like cheering the team on. In the all-boy pep club were: Keith Blo?ser, Dean Orn, Bob Best, Dennis Templeton, Ralph Moore, Dennis Miller, Mike Stump and Denzil Miller. The ‘'vivacious” cheerleaders were Fred Jensen, Terry Newcomer and Roger Holderman. You only have to turn your head to find talent. The decorations in the hall were attractive. As v in preceding years, the two high-schopl art classes made them, under the direction of Mrs. Rood. A Blue-and-White day was held Wednesday. The seniors claimed top honors with 86 per cent wearing blue and whiteOne sports season has just ended but another one is close behind. The track boys have been practicing indoors very diligently with their coach, Mr. McKee, for ; three or four weeks. The various school departments are also busy. In machine shop, Mr. Conrad and his students are beginning to make g bug, or compact car. They will do this by shortening a Chevy chassis and making various other alterations. The advanced classes of Home Ec. are beginning to sew. The students make many yarious clothes, such as dresses, skirts and suits. In Mr. Gunderman’s third hour World History class on Friday, a review was held in the form of a quiz. The Losers won and the Winners lost. Right, Dave McGrew? Just ask anyone in this class. The F. F. A. held a meeting
