“Using Our Talents to Witness for Christ” was the theme of the evening service in charge of the young people, which included poem recitations by Pamela Anglin, Christene Wise, Allan Wood, Connie Miller, Robert Wood, Judy Anglin, Barbara Sparks and Dennis Mikel; cornet solo, Lanny Anglin; 6ongs by the cherub choir, junior choir and tiny tots; piano solo, Karl Schrock; brass and woodwind ensemble, Jeanette Wood, Kathleen Hepler, Linda Harman, John Yeager and Lanny Anglin, with Tim Hoffer as accompaniest; vocal solo, Joyce Stackhouse; and talks by John Yeager, Jeanette Wood and Kathleen Hepler. Mrs. Olen Collins received a cut on her hand which required eight stiches last week. Shirley Sarber spent a few days last week at home from Indiana Central College for mid term vacation. She and Tommy Sarber spent Saturday afternoon with the Delbert Senff family near Etna Green. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Truex and children of Goshen spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. William Truex. Floyd Gordon called on Daniel Clouse, Wednesday. Lincoln and Darwin were born on the same day—February 12, 1809.
