JEFF FARM BUREAU Thirty-nine members of Van 3uren and Jefferson Twp. Farm 3ureau met May 21 at the elementary school. The meeting was opened with group singing. Amateur contest prizes were won by Michaelie Conn, Connie Biller, Mary Beth Atkinson, and Ruth George and Maxine Biller.. Judges were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Tom jr. and County Chairman, Ralph Frantz. A policy discussion on the water, shed problem was given by Arch DeFries and discussed by the group. Door prizes were won by Forest George, Everett Tom jr. and Willard Conn. Refreshments were served by the families of John Gardner, Arthur Gilbert and Elmer Haab.
