NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Locke Township of Elkhart County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said municipality at their regular meeting place on the 30th day of August, 1955, will consider the following additional appropriations which said officers consider necessary to meet' the extraordinary emergency existing at this time. Township Fund:: Item 1. Trustee Salary and Clerk Hire $ 150.00 Special School Fund: Item 18. Insurance and interest 28.00 Item 19. School Transfers 2,139.00 Tuition Fund: Item 29. School Transfers ~ 2,000.00 Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have the right to be heard there on. The additional appropriations as finally made will be automatically referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board will hold a further hearing at the County Auditor’s' offices of Elkhart County, Indiana, or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing, taxpayers of objecting to any of the additional appropriations may be heard and interested taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such hearing will be held.
