Carolyn Martz and Eddie Hand Married Friday Carolyn Jeanette Martz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Martz, R 2, Nappanee, was married Friday evening, to Eddie Lee Hand, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hand. The ceremony was performed at First EUB church by the pastor, Rev. E. E. Bragg before the immediate families and close friends. The altar was decorated with palms, baskets of gladoli, and candleabrum and bridal music was by Terry Hamsher, pianist, and Carol Wyman, soloist. The bride wore white embroidered organdy, ballerina length and white mitts. Her white hat held a short vei 1 banded in seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of White gardenias and red rose buds. Peggy Arch, bridesmaid, wore lavender tulle over taffeta and carried lavender gladoli. Paul Bollinger was best man. The couple went on a short wedding trip to southern Indiana.

BOURBON MERCHANT DIES Venn Millbem. a hardware merchant in Bourbon for 41 years, died Saturday noon at McDonald hospital after an illness of three months. He was a native of Mentone. Among survivors are a son, Jack, Nappanee.
