Free Septic Tank Demonstration May 15 at Dunlap Farmers, suburbanites and lake dwellers may see a properly installed septic absorption field, Saturday, May 15, rain or shine ! 9 a. m. to 3 p. m., at the Ralph Housman residence, Dunlap, (Cable line road, south side Midway Airport). Proper installation of individual household sewage disposal systems is of great importance both as a short term and long term investment. Many requests are received by the county agent’s office and the health unit office from farmers and people living in the suburbs regarding septic tank installation and best methods of correcting problems where such systems are already in operation. The purpose of this demonstration is to acquaint people with the proper installation and maintenance of septic tanks to -protect private water supplies from contamination and help safeguard a family’s health. People from the county agent’s office and the health unit office will be on hand to answer questions.
