ATTRACTIONS LISTED FOR COMING WEEK AT THE FAIRY THEATRE Friday and Saturday “Intruder in the Dust” brings to the screen the story of the south in which a white man tries to frame a negro into being lynched for a murder he did not commit. White friends and negro helpers take up the problem and help officials find the guilty man. This story shows one of the reasons for the civil war as some whites could no longer tolerate the mistreatment of a human being just because his skin black. Monte Hale and Paul Hurst are paired up in “Ranger of Cherokee Strip” as the second picture for. these two evenings and a usual lovers of westerns will find this one of j the best.

For three days, starting Sunday, William Powell, Mark Stevens, Betsy Drake, Adolphe Menjou and others are starred in “Dancing in the Dark.” An unknown, trying to 'break into Hollywood, succeeds in her quest for fame. A story of the lives and loves of two people of the show world and much of what goes on 'behind the scenes in this drama with music and all with a star studded cast. Abbott and Costella, favorites of radio and screen, are back again and "this time in a comedy hit, “Ride ’Em Cowboy.” The story takes these two comedians from their berths as hot-dog venders at a Long Island Rodeo, shanghais them as cowpokes on a dude ranch and they become enmeshed in feminine pulchritude, wild steers, bucking bronchoas and last but not least, a tribe of Indians. Full of laugihs and filmed only for laughing purposes this is one of the team’s best, and will 'be on the screen on Wednesday- and Thursday nights of next week.
