“KEY TO THE CITY” TO BE THREE DAY FEATURE AT FAIRY THEATRE
‘'Key to the City”, with Clark Gable and Loretta Young in the' starring roles, will be the three day feature attraction at the Fairy theatre, beginning Sunday and showing -through Tuesday. Both Gable and Young are at their best as they play the part of mayors of two western cities. Both are the official head of communities, each being elected to office on a policy of good clean government but this does not keep them out of trouble at a mayor’s convention and you will laugh with them as you watch them at love and at play and both are masters of this art. A good supporting cast adds much to the picture.
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello play the leading roles in ‘'Pardon My Sarong”, playing on Friday and Saturday nights of this week as one of the twin bill pictures. Mention of names is all that is needled to call this picture to the attention of theatregoers. On the same program Johnny Mack Brown and Raymond Hatton in “Crossed Trails” bring to the local screen another good western picture.
On Wednesday and Thursday of next week Walter Pidgeon heads an all star cast in “The Red Danube”. Ethel Barrymore, Peter Lawford, Angela Lansbury, Janet Leigh and others are in the supporting cast. As officers in the army a Russian girl is tracked down and returned to the Russians but as humans these officers do’ their best to release ithe girl from her captors. While
