Biosser, Goshen, Indiana, have recently completed official production records in Herd Improvment Registry Test, The HolsteinFriesian Association of America announces. Highest producer of the three Was Fobas Pasture Haven Harmony, with 575 pounds of butterfat and 17,129 pounds of milk. The record was made in 365 days on two milkings daily, at the age of 2 years, 9 months. Second highest producer was Ivy Bower Juliana with 516 pounds of butterfat and 12,256 pounds of milk, made in 365 days on two milkings daily, at i the age of 3 years, 1 month. The other high producer was ' Pari Ormsby Leila Ann with 484 pounds of butterfat and 11,892 pounds of milk, made in 365 days on two milkings daily, at the age of 1 year, 10 months. KOONTZ DIES SATURDAY AT HIS HOME NEAR BREMEN John R. Koontz, 73, a lifelong resident of the Bremen community, died at his home northeast of Bremen last Saturday. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with burial in the Bremen cemetery.

GRAVELTON Howard Brumbaugh was removed to his home from the Goshen hospital Thursday afternoon. ' Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fervida entertained at dinner Sunday for her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard McDonald and son Mario and Mr. and Mrs. Russel Stump from Great Lakes naval base, 111. Mrs. Harve Defrees entertained at a party Wednesday evening in honor of her daughter Carol’s 11th birthday. Guests were Joan, Linda Lou and Jackie Stump, Larry and Donnie Losee, Jackie and Jakie Jackson Damia Bridenstine and Garry Croy. Mrs. Merl Croy and Mrs. Cloyd Jackson, assisted the hostess in serving ice cream and cake to the guests. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Fervida and children and Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Miller and two children were Sunday afternoon callers at the Clarence Brumbaugh home. Mr.s. Roy Blosser, Jr., Mrs. Eldon Fervida and Miss Ronnie Brumbaugh, visited their brother, Howard Brumbaugh at the Goshen hospital last Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Glen McDonald entertained at a party Saturday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fervida who are leaving Saturday, November 29, for Arizona, Florida and other places of interest, having purchased a home trailer to travel in. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Stump, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Russel Stump, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Klotz. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blosser, Mr. and Mrs. Ancil Fervida and Mr. and Mrs. Elden Fervida and their guest of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fervida. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Stump and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Chari, ton, were Sunday afternoon callers of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dallman at New Paris. Mr. and Mrs. Rollo McDonald and sons Bob, Kenneth and Tom, were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Anna Thomas and Mrs. Oscar Troyer of near Goshen, Mrs. Olen Hartman of Wakarusa and several other guest spent Wednesday at the Thomas home.
