SCHOOL MATES REUNION. Sunday was the occasion of the Sixth annual reunion of the ’’Old School Mates” at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob B. Yarlari. There w ore 31 persons present. Culp attended the Overholt reunion at Leatherman’s park, two miles southwest of Wakarusa Sunday. The officers elected for this year are; President, Melvin Overholt of Goshen”; vicepresident, John Culp of Nappanee; secretary-treasurer, Frank Culp of South West. The reunion next year will be held Sept. 4, at the Community park in Nappanee. METZLER FAMILY REUNION The Metzler family reunion was held at the Community park last Thursday with 4*7 in attendance. OBITUARY Katharine Arlene, .daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sheets, passed away at the home of her parents on West Walnut street, at 4 o’clock Tuesday morning, after an illness of a week, at the age of 11 months and 25 days. She leaves to mourn her loss: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sheets; a sister, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Buss and Mr. and Mrs. George Sheets. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the First Brethren church, Rev. Whetstone officiating. Interment was made in The’ South Union cemetery with Funoral director, A. E. Wright, in charge The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Hepler, born Tuesday, passed away within an hour after birth.
