FORMER NAPPANEE GIRL WEDS BIPPUS, IND., MAN A wedding of interest to her former Nappanee friends was that t>f Miss Isabelle Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Miller of North Manchester, who was united in marriage with Lamoine Shinkel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Shinkel of Bippus, Ind., at the Walnut street Church of the Brethren of North Manchester, at 4 p. m. Sunday. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. V. F. Schwalm, 250 guests being in attendance. > The bride was attired in a gown of white satin with veil and train, and carried a shower bocjuet of white roses. The groom’s gift to the bride was a string of beautiful pearls. Wade Miller, brother of the bride played Lohengrin’s wedding match. At the close of the ceremony a reception dinner was held at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Shinkel left for a trip through the east. After a four weeks tour they will return to St. Louis, Mo., where they will make their home and where Mr. Shinkel will take up hla duties as instructor in a private school. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Roose of Nappanee were present at the wedding. Mrs. Roose is a sister of the bride. PERSONALS. MARRIED AT CLEVELAND. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Abrahams of Ohio have announced the marriage of their daughter, Georgia Annt, to Kenneth S. Whiteman of Cleveland. The wedding was solemnized on August 13th at Chapel of .St Barnabas Guild House. Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Whiteman was the youngest son of C. H. Whiteman, former resident of Nappanee and has been employed with the Purs-Glove Coal Cos. of Cleveland for the past several years. The bride is a graduate nurse of St. Luke’s Hospital, Cleveland. Mr. and Mrs. Whiteman are touring the state of New York and will be at home in Cleveland after the first of September.
