Figures on Sales in Ceunty for Past Three Years Give From data gathered on the sale of real estate in Elkhart county during the past three years, by County Assessor W. H, Rood, it is learned that the average appraisement of real Estate is but three-fourths of its actual or sale value. Complaint has been made at times that real estate has been appraised for taxing purposes at more than ltd real value, but* in 768 sales of real estate in this county in the past three years, it is shown that the total sale price was $3,116,603 and that the sale ■’property was appraised at $2,329,345.
