The socialists made their appearance on our streets and entertained quite a crowd with their novel opinions and denunciations. Thev were evidently deeply convinced that their theories would finally triumph over the entire world and were eloquent in exprepeing themselves to that effect. Although oar citizens listened in respectful attitude no rousing cheers helped to inspire the orator. This morning the aggregation proceeded on their way southward. The magnilicpnt pageant of Oollmar Rros. A; Schuman's big shows appearing on our streets this morning astonished our citizens, who for some reason were hardly prepared to witness such a splendid spectacle.
