Although every effort was made to save them, the fire had so Tar advarced before assistance could be rendered, that both Mills, with their contents, fell a prey to the flames. Although i they were new, and had not yet gained j the lepatation that some ether Mills pos- j sess, they Ino a heavy business, and I .gave entire satisfaction to their customers, j They will be missed very much in our J community, but fortunately we hr.ve another excellent Mill in operation here.
