A yoang man by tha uame of Wiluam Wilbub, who lire fe w mila from this place, died on Wednesday evening last, from injuiies received at th carap-meet-irg held near Wolf Creek Mills, last week. H and some boys were having some fun 'hooking' cigars, in a joking way from a comrade. Young WilburR 'snatched, a handful and ran, and as. h ran he stumbled and foil orer a log. When he got up h told the boys that ho was seriously injured, but he kept up, they thought he would get over it. He was taken home where he died the next evaning. 'Spread-Egl,M aa "Timothy Oldbuck," is just now favoring the readers of the Republican with very interesting letters to Charley. They are so poorly written that but few take the trouble to read them, and they are so devoid of truth that but fjw who do read them believe anything they costain. Timothy was up examining the Auditor's roka the other day, and, no doubt, some iconderful disclosures of the 'extravagance of the ad ministration' will be made in his next letter to Charley. WThangdoodle Timo thy expects to immortalize himself in this campaign, so that h will have a claim on Republican party for the nomination for Clerk next frll. A STARTLING FACT!
