Looking at the view of Niagara, we could see tho very moss-covered rock where we once sat and gnzed on that King of Wonders, with thoughts and emotions, for whose utterance there is no lanzuae. Mr. Carbutt seems to possess the true spirit of the Artist. In Cve wiih his beautiful Art, he seems desirous of excelling in every branch, and bringing to the highest perfection all the latest discoveries and improvements. He has permanently located among u.i, and has every facility for doing an extensive and satisfactory business, and we have no doubt but that his expectations in this respect, will be fully realized. jSSTln thv hurry of business, we omitted to notice, last week, the display in our streets of our newly organized "Hook & Ladder Company." They are lully rigged with all the pamphranaliaof their business; and, as they moved along in procession, in their lasty uniform, they were as fine a lnokiag company as we would ever wish to look upon. They would no doubt do our town nob'e orvice if called to act. Bui theieis, a3 wc h vo urged before, one thing, yet, wo Lvk, and that is a similar company, wuh a good Fir Engine. Several new buildings are going up, and everything bo tokens that our town is bound to grow some, even this year.
