This is a question that should be on the tonguo of every one, and continually repeated, until sornb action vras taken in the matter. The necessity .f such a movement must be apparent to all. Since we cannot have a school under the law, we would propose to the Trustees to lent out the Seminary building to some -..mpetent teacher, who would establish a school on private subscription; and by giving general notice to that effect, we could secure such a one. A good teacher, we believe, could do well here.' Let us sec what can be done in the matter. Mr. Johnson and lady closed their schools l ist week, having given the best of satisfaction to their employers; and though it has been but a short lime they have been with US, yet we part with them with many regrets. Our village is, however, blest . with one good sclux.l yet. and that is the one for young ladies and misses, Mught by Miss French.
