If all the residents were too agree to pay the tax assessed by the Trustees, thero would bo no difliculty, and we have pretty strong faith that they would do so, from the fact that tho school tax has formerly been paid without much irrumblino;. It is evident unless we do ! make some such an arrangement, that a se lect school is all that we can have this f ill and winter. Our proportion of the Common School Fund will probably be about 250, which, would probably pay the expenses of n school for about two months, which is all that we can expect, unless we voluntarily agree to pay tho tax.
