Seventeen members of the Reformed Church Women’s Guiia were present at the July meeting held in the church parlors with Mrs. Ted Worthman as general chairman. The lesson topic, “Japan begins Again,” was presented by Mrs. E. 0. Stroup, who was assisted by Mrs. Paul Worthman, Mrs. John Emmert, Jr., and Mrs. Paul Rink.

Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Risner were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Troyer and son, Don Allen, leaving a short time later for their newly-purchased Missouri farm home.

Mrs. J. P. Sinon of Cleveland was a Saturday over-nite guest of her brother, Percy Troyer and family. '

Theron Sheley has purchased the Risner property here on East Washington Street and it will be occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shoemaker and three daughters of Huntington. Mr. Shoemaker is employed in Goshen,

Mrs. Orlando Mangus of the Rock Run vicinity has parchased the Harry L. Reed home here on East Main Street and with her son, Charles, plans to occupy it by the latter part of next week.

Miss Arvilla Stiver and Mr. and Mrs. George Juday enjoyed a picnic outing and visited the Jean Stratton Porter State Memorial Park near Rome City Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Sieling and son of Chicago, who were guests the past week of Mrs. Corlyss LeCount and sons, was joined here Saturday by Mr. Sieling and returned to their home Sunday.

Beaver Patrol Troop 8 enjoyed a recent sight-seeing tour in So. Bend, visiting the Zoo, the Museum, the old court house, the Studebaker home that is now being used for crippled children, the Oliver home and later, attended the theatre. -

The July meeting of the Millersburg Home Ec¢ Club was held Tuesday at Sugar Hill park with a pot-luck dinner served at noon. Lesson No. 2 of “Washday Burdens” was the afternoon discussion. The August meeting will be held in the school house.
