A collection of $26.50 was taken here over the week end by the Troop for the Society of Crippled Children.

A very interesting program to which the public is invited will be presented here at 7 o’clock Sunday evening, April 16 in the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church, according to the Rev. R. A. Worthman, pastor of the church. Alex Ababio, of Pogo Land, Gold Goast, Africa, studying in this country to become a medical doctor, will be a special speaker, Mr. Ababio, who plans to go back to his people to practice his profession, will speak during the program of his homeland. : 4

The latter, who is a student at Purdue University, is spending the spring vacation here with his parents. '

Mrs. Veda Chiddister was hostess to ten members of the Variety club at a recent meeting. Prizes at pinochle were won by Mrs. Robert Bowlby and Mrs. Wilbur Musselman. The May meeting of the group will be held in the home of Mrs. Gabe Lamber of Goshen. - -
