Miss = Domna Jean Pletcher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Pletcher of Topkea, became the bride of Richard Martin of Woodburn in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Esco Loewen at 7:30 on Saturday evening, September 3. Music was furnished by Carol Pletcher on the organ and Carol Hooley, vocalist. : 'The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore white satin with a long train and carried a bouquet of red roses with red ribbon streamers. Her attendent, Virginia Pletcher, a sister, wore yelow and the bridesmaids, Margaret Schrock and Theda Lou Ramsby wore orchid and blue, respectively. Karen, small sister of the bride, was flower girl. . Maurice Rarick attended the bridegroom and ushers were Virgil Pletcher and Willard Reichardt. =

A reception followed in the church basement for 70 guests. Refreshments were served by Carolyn Saggers, Maxine Reidel, Margaret Ann Swank, and, Phyllis Kauffman. Assisting were Mrs. Miles Pletcher, Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Hooley, and Mr. and Mrs. Garth Stoltz.

After a short honeymoon, the couple will be at home inh Bloomington, where the bridegroom is a senior at I. U. .

Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Yoder spent Saturday and Sunday at the Indiana State Fair.

The Maple Grove Mennonite Church enjoyed their annual Sunday School picnic on Labor Day at the Honeyvilie School. This was also a homecoming for all former members attending this church,

Miss Sharon Adeline, who is attending school in Chicago, was a week end guest of Miss Roseanna Nelson.
