* CALDWELL REUNION ~ ‘The first Caldwell Reunion was held at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ramer, four miles south of Topeka, Sunday, August 28. - “The reunion is to be held at the Edward Caldwell residence in Kendallville next year. - Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Caldwell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Caldwell sand family of Kendallville, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dranberg and family of Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Van Dusen and family of Mishawaka, Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Caldwell and family of Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Caldwell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harp, Misses Marietta and Betsy Caldwell of LaGrange and Mrs. Dallas Harp of Mongo. Officers were elected for the coming year. The attendance was forty-eight. :
- Mrs. John Harper and son of Flossmore, 111., spent last week here as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Harper.
Miss Evelyn Fountain, Chicago, I, and Mr. Jack Mellon, Milwaukee, Wis., will be guests of Mr .and Mrs. Eugene Atz over Labor Day.
Sandra and Jamie Biddle ente:rtained a group of young friends with a weiner roast and swimming party last Thursday - honoring Joyce Ann Gorril, who is moving out of town soon, and Loretta and Jimmie Robb, of Everett Washington, who have been visiting relatives here. - :
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schwab of Albion entertained the following guests at dinner last Sunday, Mrs. Bertha King, Mr. and Mrs. Don Schwab and daughter, TnLakes, Mr. and Mrs, Sid Ort and son, Churubuseo, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Patton and sons and Mrs. Adrian Biddle and children.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Atz entertained Mr. and Mrs. Sanger Reed and Dr. and Mrs. Donald Mettler at dinner in observance of Mr. Atz’s birthday anniversary.
Mrs. Robert Creps and Mrs. R. J. Walters spent Wednesday in South Bend.
Mr. and Mrs. Carmon Miller and children are spending this week vacationing on Lake Wawasee. ; :

Rosalind Dull, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Dull, Kimmell, and Roy Stahly, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stahly were united in marriage Sunday, August 28 in the. Wawaka Brethren Church at 2:00 pm,
The ceremony was performed, before a beautifully decorated altar banked with gladioli of raiubow shades and flanked by candlelabra, by the Rev. Buryl Hgover. ' The bride, who was attired in a white satin gown and wore & finger tipWeil, carried white roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Maxine Lindsay, Fort Wayne, aunt of the bride, wore a floor length acqua satin gown and carried yellow roses. :
Dan Stahly served his brother as best man. Fred Stahly, brother of the groom, and Dr. Herman Lung, served as ushers. A reception was held immediately following the ceremory :in the home of the bride’s parenis, after which the couple left for a trip through the Smoky mountains.
Mrs. Bess Dewey and Mr. Jesse Dewey celebrated their birthday anniversaries last Sunday with a family picnic in the Goshen park. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Dewey and daughter, Martha, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stults and son Randy .of Elkhart, and Mrs. Bess Dewey and family.
Miss Rosemarion Bink and Miss Charlotte Bink, South Bend, spent the week end visiting their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs., Earl Creps at their cottage on Lake Wawasee, £ — e
Mrs. Wayne Scott entertained the Merry Janes Yarley Club onl Wednesday evening at her home with eleven members and ome‘ guest, Mrs. Helen Wolf, present.! After the business meeting, Yarley was played with winners being Mrs . Lelan Poppy, Mrs. Tom Hire, Mrs. Leon Hutchings and Mrs. Charles Huffer. Dainty refreshments were served at the close of the evening. 2
Mrs. Minnie Horning Gotwalt and Miss Roberts Wigton attended services in the Presbyterian Church on Sunday morning and had the pleasure of seeing and hearing their former pastor of the Presbyterian Church at LaGrange.
Mrs. Merrill Hire, Jr.,, and children Merry Sue and Rickie, spent the week end at Torch Lake, Mich., visiting Mrs, Hire’s sister, Miss Eleanor Smith.

And remember to serve liver at least once a week. In many cases it will ba necessary to add interesting seasonings or other foods to liver dishes to tempt the youngsters. Cut liver into 1-inch cubes. Sea. son flour sprinkle over cubed lver and brown in vitaminized margae rine. Remove. Saute onion and celery in vitaminized margarine until lightly browned. Add liver, pimien. to, mushroom soup, peas, milk and seasonings. Mix well; bring to a boil. Add cooked rice. Pour into individual casseroles. Sprinkle rice with a little grated cheese, if desired. Bake in a moderate oven (360°F.) ‘about $0 minutes.\Yield: 6 servings. :
