METHODIST TO HOLD DISTRICT MEETING

The Warsaw District of the Methodist Church will hold their set-up meeting in the Ligonier Methodist Church, Friday, June 10 beginning at 1:80. Dr. B. Brooks Shake, District Superintendent, will be in charge of the business which will consist of. setting up the program for the churches of the District for the coming conference year. A meeting of the District Missionary Society will be held in connection with the program. Mrs. Quentin F. Stultz and Mrs. Melvin Schlotterback will represent the Ligonier Church. N

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF : BUILDING FUND

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers .of the City of Ligonier, Noble County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of said school corporation at their regular meeting place on the 14th day of June, 1949, at 2 p.m. will consider the establishment of a ten cent (10c) Building Fund rate for the Ligonier School City. P Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have the right to be heard thereon. The Special Building Fund rate as finally made will be automatically referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners, which board will hold a further hearing within fifteen days at the County Auditor’s office of Noble County, Indiana, or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing, taxpayers objecting to such building fund may be heard and interested taxpayers may inquire of the County Auditor when and where such hearing will be held. : Board of School Trustees of Ligonier School City.
