Miss Doris Gene LeCount, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse LeCount, Wawaka, and Dr. Robert J. Alber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin G. Alber, South Bend, were united in marriage in the Ligonier Methodist Church, June 4 at 4:30 p.m.
Rev. G. Ben Hershberger officiated at the ceremony, which was preceeded by an organ recital by Mrs. Marie Kitson.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Juday of Cromwell, sister and brother-in-law- of the bride, attended the couple. : i The bride’s mother wore a navy blue dress with dark accessories and the bridegroom’s mother wore a green gabardine suit with white accessories. Both wore corsages of pink carnations.
Following the service, a bridal dinner was held in the Publix Cafe, Kendallville. Dr. and Mrs. Albert will reside in Ligonier following a trip to Northern Michigan. ,
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Orewiler attended the marriage of Mrs. Orewiler’s brother, William Rosenberry to Miss Donna -Hart in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, Indiana, Monday.
Mrs. Earl Creps entertained guests at three tables of bridge at her cottage on Lake Wawasee, Wednesday evening in honor of Mrs. Leroy Bink.
~ Mrs. E. M. Culver spent last week end visiting in the home of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. James Hire in Mishawaka. Mr. Culver and Mrs. Carrie Wadse were also guests in the Hire home on Sunday. ‘

The Christian Service Guild met Monday eveming in the home of Mrs. Emmitt Smith for a carryin supper with Mrs. Wayland Spears as co-hostess. This was the final meeting of the current season for the group.

The Merry Janes Yarley Club met Thursday evening in the home of Mrs. Nyelle Crockett. Following the business meeting, yarley was played. The winners included ‘Mrs. Leland Poppy, Mrs. Leon Hutchings, Mrs. Fred Bickel and Mrs. Charles Huffer.
