'~ The Misses Mary and Helen Mann, Mrs. S. S. Hostetler, Marie Yoder, all of Elkhart, and Mrs. Mildred Miller of Goshen were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Yoder. ,

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Camp and son Ronnie were week end guests of Mrs. Bertha Greenawalt and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Smith. Guests on Memorial Day were Mr. and Mrs. Milo Hunter and Ronnie Cline of Three Rivers.

Wilbur, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Yoder is a patient in the Goshen hospital with a skull fracture and other injuries suffered when he was kicked by a horse on Sunday evening. He is seriously injured and hasn’t regained consciousness since the accident.

Rev. and Mrs. Esko Loewen and daughter returned Sunday evening from Chicago where they had spent the past week, and on Sunday afternoon, Rev. Loewen was graduated from the Mennonite Biblical Seminary. '

There are 115 enrolled in the Daily Vacation Bible School which started May 29 thru June 10 at the Maple Grove Mennonite Church.

The Bluffton College Choir under the direction of. ' Prof. Russell Lantz gave a sacred concert on Tuesday evening, June 2nd in the Topeka Mennonite Church. Russell Lantz is a former Topeka boy and has gained much recognition in his musical career. Joanna Bowen, Carol Hooley and Martha Lee Yoder, residents of this vicinity and Bluffton students, are members of this choir.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Neufer and Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Yoder attended commencement activities mn Bluffton. Their son, John Neufer, and daughter, Martha Lee Yoder, were among the graduates.

David and Joan Yoder, Quinton and Royanne Hartzler, Tom Stoltz, and Quin Jones spent Saturday in Bluffton, Ohio, where Quin Jones enrolled as a freshman for the fall term. !

The Sorosis Club will have a pastry sale on June 4 in the Seagly store.

Mr. and Mrs. Abe Nofzinger of Stone Lake and Marie Yoder were Sunday afternoon callers of Miss Polly Greenawalt.

The Book Club celebrated their 10th anniversary on Tuesday, May 31 with a dinner meeting at Moeller’s Restaurant. All former and present members were invited to this meeting. There are seven charter members still in the club. Mrs. R. F. Miller, who hasn’t missed a meeting, Mrs. Dail Seagly, - Mrs. Don Bowen, Mrs. William Turner, Mrs. Earl Neufer, Mrs. Ina Henderson and Mrs. Garth Stoltz,

The regular meeting of the Book Club has been postponed from June 1 to June 8. Mrs. Wm. Turner is hostess and Virginia Yoder will review “Faust.”

Mr. and Mrs. Harley Blake and daughter Sharon left Sunday for Portland, Oregon, to visit their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Blake.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Greenawalt, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Greenawalt and son Ronnie, James Greenawalt and daughter Polly were guests on Memorial Day of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Greenawalt.

Dr. and Mrs. K. M. Lehman and daughters spent Sunday afternoon with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Lehman and Mr. and Mrs. DeMain Warner.

‘The Church of the Brethren Ladies held their meeting at the home of Mrs. Jerry Pottee of Brimfield on Thursday. :

The W.S.C.S. ladies of the Methodist church entertained the W.F.C. girls at the Epworth Foiest home of Mr. and Mrs. John Coffman, Wednesday. About 30 women and girls were present. A pot luck dinner was enjoyed by all. :

Misses Alma and Lena Stigner and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stigner called at ther home of Mr. and Mrs. George Homsher of Kendallville on Friday.

Memorial Services were held at Cosperville on Sunday. Rev. J. E. Jensen of Epworth Forest delivered the sermon.

Mrs. Russell Smoots and children and Mrs. Ellis Gates and daughter were Kendallville visitors on Saturday. :

Mr. and Mrs. Larson of Chicago were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Barrett and other relatives over the week end.

Mr. and Mrs. Theron Kurtz and Mr .and Mrs. Russell Young of Fort Wayne were among those who attended the Tulip Festival at Holland, Mich.

Mr. and Mrs. Clark of Chicago were week end guests of Mrs. Retha Kesler.
