Mrs. Lloyd Woodworth and Mrs. Stanley Oesch entertained .their pinochle eclub at the home of the latter on Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fought and son moved Thursday to the Weaver apartment vacated by the Troups who moved to Hamlet.

The Mothers Club met on Monday evening with Mrs. Nolen Hartzler with Mrs. Forrest Ream and Mrs. Garth Stoltz as assistant hostesses. Mrs, Stoltz reviewed the book, “The Doctor Has a Baby.”

Mrs. Glenn Smith and daughter Marlene spent Saturday in South Bend and called on Mrs. Clyde Camp, sister of Mrs. Smith, who is seriously ill of a throat infection and gland trouble.

The Junior Class gave their play, “Professor, How Could You?” on Thursday evening, March 29. The play was directed by Miss Miriam Haarer. Those in the cast were Jake Gloor, Bonnie Roy, Mary Yoder, Jim Sprunger, Tom Turner, Phyllis Oesch, Carolyn Hartzler, Donald Hayden and Janice Fought. :

The Clearspring Township Farm Bureau will meet at 7:30 Friday evening, April 1 at the Beulah Church. The theme for the evenning is Health and 4-H work. Devotions by Mrs. John Schermerhorn. Mrs. Harold Hershey, a registered nurse, will give an article on Health. Refreshments will be served. :

Mrs. Lydia Greenawalt, who has spent the winter in Toledo, Ohio, returned to her home in Topeka on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Weber ‘Greenawalt accompanied her here and were overnight guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. I. V. Stage.

Mrs. R. F. Miller and Mrs. Earl Neufer will be guests of the LaGrange Coterie Club on Tuesday. Mrs..Neufer will review “Tomorrow Will Be Better.

Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Sutton attended memorial services for Myron Strait on Monday afternoon in Fort Wayne.
