Mr. and Mrs. Earl Grimm entertained the Pace Setters class at their home on Friday evening at a party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jim Ulmer and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Holden.
Rev. Jesse Short of- Archibold, Ohio, will conduct a series of Evangelistic meeting beginning on March 3 at the Maple Grove Menonite Church on South Main Street and services will begin at 7:30 each evening. :

Mrs. Leroy Yoder was hostess to the Book Club on Wednesday, March 2. Mrs. William Turver reviewed “Cheaper by the Dczen” by Gilbreth.
A fire of undetermined origin did considerable damage to the late Amos Greenawalt residence, occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wiler south of the railroad on Thursday morning. ' The house and contents were damaged badly by the fire and water. The Wilers are staying with relatives until the house is repaired.
Mr. Charles Miller, Mrs. Dorothy McKay and son Frank were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Carmon Miller of Ligonier.
Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Sprunger were called to Fort Wayne Sunday by the death of Mr. Sprunger’s uncle, Mr. Walter Pattee, who died Saturday night of a cerebral hemorhage at the Lutheran Hospital. ; 5

Chamberlin of 1560 Flatbush ~ Ave., Brooklyn, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Jean Wagstaff Chamberlin to Mr. Dwight Marion Hooten of Brooklyn, son of Mr. Dwight W. Hooten of Wawaka, Indiana. Miss Chamberlin attended Columbia University. Mr. Hooten served in the Army in the South Pacific and the Phillippines and is now attending New York University. ‘
