Carol, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Inks, is in the Kendallville hospital for observation.

Mrs. Mae Tierney is ill and unable to attend to her duties at the postoffice. :

Mr. and Mrs. George Homsher of Kendallville, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stigner.

Mrs. Emma Masters and Mrs. Retha Kesler of Chicago, are spending several days at their home here.

Dale Hooten is on a business trip in Michigan. _

Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Hooten were Sunday guests of Mrs. Pearl Myers and Miss Ada Duckwall of Elkhart. Miss Duckwall is a teacher in an Elkhart school.

Riley Dukes, who is ill with typhoid fever, is improving.

Judy Hooten is improving from her recent illness.

John Pat Tierney returned to Notre Dame after spending the week-end with his parents.

Lloyd Myers suffered an attack of asthma last week.
