Teen Queen — You're the uncrowned queen of your campus if you're the Drum Majorette. Second to you are the Twirlers, who follow you in the parade. You wear the handsomest uniform of all, supplied by the school. It’s usually in school colors and, if you have good legs, it doesn’t do you any harm. If you haven’t good legs, . you better try out for the debating club. Earn while you Learn — Good Twirlers turn a pretty penny teaching other hopefuls in school. We're told that the accepted price for twirling lessons is 50 cents per hour. Twirling Goes National — There are Interschool State competitions and All-American National competitions for girls (and boys, too) who Twirl. Champions are the envy and idols of every twirling teen.

. Natural Colored Cloth - Production of fabrics from natural colored cotton in the USSR is to be steadily increased. Twentyseven cotton textile -and woolen mills are to weave cloth from this raw material, which was planted over considerably expanded areas in Soviet Central Asia in 1946. The harvest of raw colored cotton and processing of the fiber increased several times over 1945. Apart from the fact that the eolor of fabrice produced from naturally tinted cotton is faster than those dyed by chemfcal processes, the cloth is more durable than that made from ordinary cotton.
