. The W.S.C.S., which was to have !been held at the home of Mrs. Ruth Johnson‘s on Wednesday has been postponed until April Bth. The Wawaka Grange met in their own hall on Tuesday Apri first. They held an open pot-iuck supper meeting. The Greencastle Grange was in charge of the lecture hour.

Mrs. Nellie Goings and daughter were recent guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrirs. Alton Lower and family. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lower have moved to his father‘s farm, where Mr. Lower will take over its management.

Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Hooten atcended lodge meeting in Ligonier on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Myra Reidenbach, who has spent several weeks visiting relatives in the community, has returned to her home in Whittier, California. Mrs. Reidenbach was accompanied as far as Omaha, Nebraska with her brother, Mr. Sheldon Frick.

Mrs. Blanch Targgart, who has been ill at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Linville Myers, passed away on Sunday. The funeral will

be held at Albion on Wednesday. Sunday guests in the Carl Franks home were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Eagelson and family of Elkhart, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Stauffer and family of Ligonier and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jones and family. ;

Mrs. Anna K. Prickett accompanied by her grandchildren Ann and Dan E. Prickett were weekend guests of Mr. and -Mrs. Chas. D. Prickett of Willard, Ohio.

Mrs. Vera Wilkins has recovered from her illness and will resume her place as Primary teacher in our school this week.

Joe Adair, County Superintendent gpent several days in Indianapolis on business last week. Mrs. Lura Haney entertained Sunday dinner guests from Mishawaka. : g

Miss Frick recently announced her resignation from the faculty at the close of the school year to be married. She and her fiance, Mr. William Ramsey of Portland, Oregon, plan an early summer wedding. ’

Mr. and Mrs. George Miller of Fort Wayne were Sunday visitors in the Jack Miller and Taylor Linn homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Buhlman of Ligonier were Sunday visitors in the Richard Kesler home. .

The grade school basketball tournament is being played at Albion this week. It was scheduled for last week but postponed due to the weather.

Easter services will be held at both the Lutheran and Methodist churches, Sunday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Yoder are the parents of a son.

Mr. and Mrs. Ward Rimmell visited in the Basil Needham home at Fort Wayne last week and also called upon their new great niece, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Reinhard.

Rev. and Mrs. D. C. Truesdale who have lived in the Harvey Hontz home this winter returned to their Wawasee home, Monday.
