* 4-H BANQUUET TUESDAY The Noble County 4-H Junior Leader Banquet will be held at the Kendallville Country Club on Tuesday_evening, November 12 at 6:15. The Noble County Fair Associatron is again sponsoring the banquet. ] Junior leader pins and speeial awards will be presented. Eric Holm, Assistant in 4-H Club work at Purdue University, will summarize 4-H Achievements and progress. The rest of the evening will be devoted to dancing, folk games and parlor games. Junior leaders in good standing (having turned in Junior Leader Record book,) the Noble County Commissioners and wives,” the County Council and wives, the Officers and Executive Committee and -wives of the Fair Association are cordially invited. ] Wawaka News | ‘A party was given for the Methodist Youth Fellowship Saturday night, November 2nd, by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Couts at their home. A new tool shed recently completed on the Couts farm made a splendid setting for games and contests. Numbers were drawn to select participants for-a bride and groom for a mock wedding. The characters were attired in amusing costumes and’ their entertaining performance added interest to the party. Delicious refreshments were enjeyed at the close of the party. Special guests included Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Cotner and Mrs. Tom Stigner, teachers of the Young People’s classes, Mr. and Mrs. George Kellner, Mrs. Kellner is the Secretary of the Woman’s Society of Christian Service. Mrs. Linville Myers entertained the W.S.C.S. at an all-day meeting on Wednesday.
