TON LITTER CLUB ENROLLMENT DUE APRIL 15
Enrollment in the Hoosier Ton Litter Club will close April 15, according to J. L. Guthrie, County Agrifural Agent. Any farmer is eligible to enroll ‘in -this club by paying his membership in the Indiana Livestock Breeders Association and by filling out a nomination card on one or more litters of pigs. The litter should be of nine pigs or more. ;
Claude Hoffman a 4-H Pig Club member received the -certificate last year for the heaviest litter in Noble County at 175 days of age. His litter of nine Hampshire pigs weighed 2270 pounds. Sixteen members were enrolled in the Ton Litter Club in 1945,
