Pfe. Solomon_Tulford, only son of Mrs. Edna Tulford, is now a patient in a Dayton, 0., hospital, recuperating from injuries. This entire community has been shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Professor Sheldon Irish, popular agriculture teacher of Wawaka schools.

- Rev. Floyd Smith, evangelist of 'lndianapolis, is house guest during the Cosperville Baptist Church Revival, of Mr. and Mrs, Homer Boyd.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brill entertained at noon dinner for ' Rev. Floyd Smith, Indianapolis, Rev. Ralph Rayment and family of Cosperville. They were guests Wednesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Riddle and family and Thursday noon and supper ‘guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Conrad near Rome City.

War Mothers’ Notes

~_An important business meeting of the Unit will be held Friday night. The meeting will convene promptly at 7:30 at City Hall and every member is requested to attend. This is the regular monthly business meeting. ‘Members who have not yet taken their ‘membership pledge should do so at this meeting, since the last meeting of the month will be a social one. . The Food and Bake Sale scheduled for next Saturday has been postponed to Saturday, Novy. 11. The sale ‘will be held in the old Post Office building on Cavin street. i
