Charles Todd, at’ his' camp in Alabama, November 1. Little Billy is in school in Dayton now.

~ Mrs. Will Miller, formerly of Wawaka Central, is now employed at the Millersburg Central office. Mr. Miller, former Wawaka manager, is now chief ' lineman with -the Millersburg Telephone Co. - :

" Mr. and Mrs. Virgil L. Todd attended the Elkhart County Guernsey cattle sale at Elkhart Thursday and purchased a ten-months-old prize heifer for the Smith & Todd herd at Libensam Farm. S

An all-day session of the Wawaka WSCS was held Weédnesday at the home of Mrs. Florence LeCount. Boxes were packed for overseas soldiers ‘and sailers of Wawaka community. o

Mrs. Thora Cotner, Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Mrs. John Coffman, Mrs. Marguerite ‘Lower and -Mrs. Jennie Winwright attended the Warsaw meeting of the Women’s Society for Christian Service last Wednesday.

Graveside services were held at Cosperville Baptist cemetery Friday afternoon for Mrs. Cinda Mawhorter Lanning, of Bicknell, Ind., formerly of Elkhart township. Rev. Ralph Rayment, of Cosperville, officiated. Among those from away who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith, LaGrange county; Mr, and Mrs. Ward Dukes, White Pigeon, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Barker and children, Kalamazoo; and Mr. and Mrs. Perry Bland, Bicknell, Ind. : ! +Mr. and Mrs. T.
