To Start Play On Thursday
There will be few Friday morning games in this year’'s sectional bigh school basketball tournaments, A. L. Trester commissioner of the Indiana High School Athletic association, said. .
Under this year's’ tournament plan, play will begin on Thursday night, March 4, in every section regardless of the number of teams participating. There will be no Friday morning games in tournaments having from eight to 12 teams entered. There also will be no Friday afternoon games in tournaments having eight or uine teams entered. There will be no games on Saturday morning in any of the sectionals. Trester explained the new arrangement is a further effort to relieve the strain of too many games on one day. Last year the tournment plan ior the sections and the state finals was revised to eliminate the necessity of any team playing three games in lnue day. Sabecridbe Now For The Ligowvles Banner.
