Christian Science Services “God the Preserver of Man” was the subject of the Less:n-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scien*ist on Sunday June 14. The Golden_ Text was: ‘*‘*Fear thou not; for I am with three. be not dismayed; for I am thy CGod: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help three; yea, I will uphoid thee with the right hand of my righteousness’” (Isaiah 41:10). ‘ Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon was the following from the Bible: .“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what y 3 shall eat, or what we shall drink:; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. s not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Wherefore, if God so clothe, the erass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, ghall he not much more clothe you, O ve 'of little faith?” (Matthew 6: 25,30). The Lesson-Sermon also incivded the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Secriptures” by Mary Baker FEddy: “The divine Mind, which forms the bud and blossom, will care for the human body, even as it clothes the lily; but let no mortal interfere with God’s government: by thrusting in the laws of erring, human concepts” (D. 62). “The time epproackes when mortal mind will forsake its corporeal, structural, and amteria! basis, when immortal Mind and its formations will be apprehended in Science, and material beliefs will not interfere with spivitual facts”(p. 402).
