Arla Heston and Ferrell Gerver who were hurt in an automobile collision last June 2 at Fifteenth street angd Indiana avenue in Auburn Satur day filed damge suits in the DeKalb circuit.court against Gerald Gregg of Auburn the former demanding $lO,000 and the latter $5,000. Heston whose home is at Wolcottville anq Gerver who lives at Brimfield were riding in a Hudson car that Fred Lewis of Waterloo was driving., 'Waldo Crooks and Oliver Opdycke of Waterloo also were in the machine and all were injured excepting Lewis. € The men with Lewis were employes of the state highway department and ‘they were on their way to work. The car was going west on Fifteenth street when it was struck at the rear by the defendants Ford coupe, The Hudson overturned. Heston says he lost the hearing of his right ear that hig left shoulder was fractured and that his back and spine ‘were injured.
