| Parted Friends. By James Montgomery. -~ Friend after friend departs, - Who hath not lost a friend? There is no union here of hearts That finds not here an end! Were this frail world our final rest, Living and dying none were blest. Bevond the flight of time— - Beyond the reign of death— There surely is some blessed clime ' Where dife is not a breath; Nor life’s affection transient fire, Where sparks fly upward and expire
There is a world above Where parting is unknown!

To Correct a False Report e \( 5 » : A statement i‘s being- circulated throughout this cémmunity ' that we make a charge for holding services in our funeral home. 1 wish to say that such a statement is positively not true. - We bring a great many bodies here for preparation and have held many services in the funeral home and never in any case have we made a charge for so doing. o This home is for the use of the public, and no matter whether brought from a distance or the immediate vicinity, there is no charge for the use of the funeral home. - - GEO. W, BROWN. .
A long eternity of love, Formed for the good alone; And faith beholds the dying here Translated to that glorious sphere!
Thus gstar by star declines Till all are passed away; As morning high and higher shines '~ To pure and perfect day: Nor sink those stars in empty night But hide themselves. in heaven’s own Heght,
Relatives and friends attended the funeral from the folowing cities: Fort Wayne, Sturgis, Mich., Goshen, Wolcottville, Brimfield, Wawaka, Cosperville, Kimmell, Pierceton and Topeka. Mr. and Mrs. Quail wish to express their sincere thanks to the many friends and relatives during this bereavement, also for the beautiful floral offerings.
Resolutions of Respect,
In the death of our sister, Helena Wigton, the Progress Club has lost one of its most faithful and most efficient memibers. One whose kindness of heart has endeared her to all.
We have lost one whose_taient and keen interest helped to develop and maintain the high standard of our work, and, as we meet from time to time, we shall often think of this dear friend whose bright and beautiful life has meant so much, not only to our Club, but to the entirée community in which she lived. .
‘Therefore, be it resolved that we, who so keenly feel our loss and realize the sorrow that has come to the loved ones“of her family, extend to them our expression of sincerest sympathy in their bereavement, and that we place upon our records this tribute of respect for our associate and friend. ‘ Edith Slutz Lola Harrison : Alice Vallance .
