Thirteen of Sixtéen Teams to Partl cipate in State Basketball Tourn““ament Under Violate Protests _
| The Indiana High School Athletic association board of control probably will be urged to adopt, different methods of allotting tickets to the the state final basketball i‘umam ‘nament as a result of dissatisfaction with present allotments expressed at Indianapolis. : o ‘Admitting that the situation is irremediable so far as the tournament there Friday and Saturday is concerned principals and coaches representing 13 of the 16 teams to participate in it adopted numerous sketchy resolutions which can be suminarized in the statement that ‘“the situation is deplorable and something should be done about it.” A ~ Among ticket allotments reported by persons attending the gathering were: Central of Fort Whyna 60 Frankfort 170; Salem 50; Martinsville 260; Delphi 380; Dugger 67; LaPorte 50; Anderson 750#) and Goshen 50. [ Several speakers declared that a ‘bulletin issued by A. L. Trester commissiorier of the I, H. S. 3 A. had decreed an allotment of 280 tickets for each regional winner, and agreed that” had this been followed there would have been little cause for complaint. Trester recently announced however that because of heavy orders for tickets throughout the state the allotment had been cut to 50 tickets each. : s
