President Hoover Tuesday signed the census and reapportionment bill. The new act has a two-fold purpose provision for the regular decennial count of the population and th: setting up of a pla nfor re:;apporlimnnent of the house of representatives. A picnic dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Klase at Goshen in observance of Father's day. Ossian Youth Killed
James Agans 10 son of Rev. and Mrs. J. E. Agans was instantly killed about 6:30 o’clock Sunday night in an automobile accident three miles north west of Ossian on the Bethel road near the Bethel school. : The car in which yvoung Agans was riding was being driven by John Shaffer 14 son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Shaffer manager of a garage there and turned three somersaults when it hit a rough spot in the road. . The Agans boy received a broken 'neck a deep cut across the forehead and a crushed chest. Young Shaffer lwas not injured seriously. '

However, she a!sbserts Khe'payments hgaw'e been delayed due to lateness of the season. ~ Agents of the state removed furniture from the inn and had water and electric service stopped as eighteen guests were being seated for luncheon. Mrs. Richards found two tables, lit coal oil lamps and carried water from a considerable distance and the luncheon was served. She announces she will refurnish the hotel at her own expense and continue service despite the state's action. : e
