One sheep was found dead, another was maimed so that it had to be killed and a third sheep wag maimed probably fatally by the dogs On the first two _visits to the flock the dogs killed one gheep each night and maimed some. Beckman of Philadelphia whé was headed west, The Yoder machine. a Nash seday caromed off the highway and struckg a tree. "Both autos were bhadly dam; aged. The injured were brought tg Goshen by passing motorists. : Two Women Hurt, o The third person to be-struck by 'm} auto on a Goshen street within the past 10 days and he second victim of a hit-and-run motorist, Tuesday (\ ning suffered a broken left arm. 1 Mrs. George Meyers 46 of Liaimeri' town is suffering from a colles frack ture of her left wrist as the result of being run down by a truck. The acs cident occurred as the woman wag crossing Lincolp avevm\w in the 100 block at 6:10 Tuesday evening. The truck headed east failed to stop and witnesses failed to obtain the licensa number. Mrs. Meyers was knocked tg the pavement and is also suffering numerous bruises as the result.

Wolf Lake Institute

The farmers’ institute at Wolf Lake next Wednesday December 5 will hq featured by an ‘unusual . program, There will be three sessions-—morn-ing afterncon and evening. The Boys’ Potato club show will bg held in the morning. P. O. Hurley, agricultural -agent for the B. & O railroad and W. B. Ward of Purdug university -will be present to judge the exhibit and address the institute; Over §4O in prizes including two tripy to Purdue university will he gven by the Wolf Lake bank and the B, &O. ralroad.
