To the Voters of Noble County. My attention has been called to an article published in two Noble county newspapers in which I am charged with dishonesty because I am a candidate for re-election for county clerk . It is stated that I wrote a letter to the voters of Noble county in 1924 in which 1 said that I sought but one term of office. . 1 do not deny writing that letter.

I do deny any insincerity of purpose, When I became a c@ndidate two yeargj ago I meant what I said. lam a candidate for re-election this year solely because prominent men and women from all parts of the county, republican and democratic alike, who have had personal contact with my office, have urged it upon me. During the past four years I have tried to fulfill the duties of county clerk to the best of my ability. Those whose business has brought them in actual contact with the clerk's office said that my work has been above the ordinary. They are the ones who have urged my being a candidate for reelection thig year. If the taxpayers of Noble county be-

lieve that m}' four years in office havg countedfor efficiency and the satisfactory discharge of the duties of that office, then I should be eleted. Your vote should be your honest expression of your own opinion. - Signed: Frances M. Beane.
