| Elkhart Man Killed - Ivan F. Farley 34 of Elkhart is dead and Dr. J. C. Fleming prominent Elkhart surgeon is badly hurt as the result of a double accident on a federal highway near Union Mich. Dr. Fleming’s big sedan skidded into a ditch injuring him severely, and Farley was hurt while at work assisting to drag the machine back into the road when another car driven by Charles M. Crowfoot, Pontiac; Mich., smashed into the Fleming \w. ¥
Farley was rushed to an Elkhart hospital but died soon afterward Crowfoot was arrested in Elkhart, but released to the Cass county (Mich.) sheriff pendin a preliminary hearing October 15. Farley leaves a wife and one son. ~ S

Orlo Borger was over from Ligonier Saturday on a business mission and incidentally made this office a pleasant call. He stated that he and June had recently returned from a visit with Floyd and family in Chicago and while there looked up Jacob Lesch and had quite a fanning bee with him.—Millersburg Grit.
