Five Cases are Tiied. Mayor W. C. Auman, of Kendallville did a rushing bhusiness in city court Wednesday af:ernoon and as a result a new recorid of five cases was tried. Fines and costs amounting tc $345 and suspended seatences of 1S months were handed out by the mayor. All five prisoners were released after payment of their fines. The docket for the day was as follows: Kenneth Town, formerly of Fort Wayne, petit larceny, fine $5 and costs, amounting to $l5 and a six months suspended sentence to theg landiana state penal farm; Oliver Ettinger, petit larceny, same sentence; Frank Shook, petit larceny, saie sentence; Paul Marshall, publiz intoxication, fine s§lo and costs, amounting to$40;1 Lester Weidler, a charge of unlawful possession of liquor, and a charge of unlawful sale of intoxicating liquor, a fine of $lOO and costs on each charge, amounting 1o 3260 and a lhirty-dgy sentence to the county ‘jail suspended. -
