' Mail Bandit Is Given Long Term ~ Charles “Limpy’” Cleaver was sentenced to 25 years in the federal penitentiary ‘and fined $lO,OOO by Judge James H. Wilkerson in federal court at Chicago on charges resulting from his cénviction of participation in the $133,000 Evergreen Park mail. robbery last February. S ~ Cleaver's plea for a new trial was overruled and Judge Wilkerson sentenced him on each of the seven ¢ounty charging participation in the robbery conspiracy, possession of the loot and receiving of stolen property. Thd étotal sentence amounted to 82 years, but the prison terms will run concur;rently. - ‘ l ee e : / | Dies of Stroke Henry Hostettler died Friday at his home in Topeka the result of a stroke of paralysis.
