Have been doing fine in Bible school attendance. But we can do better if all will help hold the line on “Old Man Slump” so he cannot get in and demoralize things. Two of our number are in the hospital at Fort Wayne. Mrs. Bowman and Donnabelle Wiley and this necessitated the ahsence of our Juniér Supt. But they will soon be back and be present with us. :
Communion and sermon at 10:30. We are hoping for a large attendancq at this service. ;
At 7:30 P. M. will be the first union service at the M. E. church. Rev, Risley rbeing' the speaker. 'We hopgq to see our regular Sunday night audience in this service. These meetings are not held to give some an excuse to be absent but that we may bq strengthened by the mutual fellow+ ship of all christians in our respectiva congregations.

The electrical storm did some damage in the vicinity last Friday evening. As a bolt struck the house of Ira Bickel damaging the house and contents. The loss is partially covered by insurance. Also a radiq aeriel wire was struck at the home of W. H. Miller and at the home of Lewis Lipke a bolt struck a - tree killing 22 ewes which were shelter beneath it.
Christian Endeavor Party. Monday evening was a very pleasant time for the C. E’s of the Presbyterian church. Promptly at 7:30 the entertainmeiit began and continued until ten. Games of all kinds were indulged in and not a moment wasted. The winners certainly felt they had been most wonderfully entertained and that delicious ice cream and abundance of cake completed very nicely the evenings pleasure. Thank you losers you were goocd sports and seemed to enjoy the evening as much as we. “A Winner”

Pill Deddlers Meet.
The WNoble County Medical Society met this afternoon at Wolf Lake ag guests of Dr. J. E. Luckey. A dinner was served at 12 o’clock after which the medics heard a paper on “The Acute Abdomen,” delivered by Dr. John Thompson of Garrett.
